FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about additional thickness & upgrade works on commercial construction projects across Sydney and NSW.

What fire resistance level (FRL) do you deliver?

We work to the FRLs nominated in your project specifications and fire engineering report — commonly -/60/60, -/120/120, -/180/180 and -/240/240 for structural steel members. Our crews apply to specified thickness and verify throughout the works.

Do you service areas outside Sydney?

Yes. We service Sydney metro and projects state-wide across NSW — including Newcastle, Wollongong, Central Coast, Parramatta, Penrith, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Blacktown and North Sydney.

What information do you need for a project quote?

Drawings (PDF or DWG), project specifications, quantities (m² of structural steel or ductwork) and any fire engineering report. We can often give an indicative price from marked-up drawings, with a final figure after a site visit.

Do you provide QA documentation and thickness checks?

Yes. Every project includes thickness checks against the specified FRL, photographic records during application, and project-specific QA documentation suitable for handover to builders, fire engineers and certifiers.
